I really like Kenny Kay’s digital stamps

This is an 8 x 8 basic cream card stock

I used K & Co backing paper and distressed the edges with a Tim Holtz distressing ink pad

I cut out Cogs in 3 different colours with my Cutle bug and used 1 of Tim Holtz dies

I used a Kenny Kay Digi, she is called Capt. Locke, and coloured her in with Promarkers, cut her out and used 3d pads

I took 2 keys and distressed them with Tim Holtz ink and hung them from 2 chains and hooked them through a brad

Tilda and a bunch of roses

The sketch is from The Deconstructed Challenge Blog

I created an A5 card from white hammered card stock

I cut beautiful paper from Wild Rose Studio - Butterfly collection into 4 equal sizes and layered them onto white card stock

I layered them onto a cerise pink card

I took cerise organza ribbon and a narrower white organza ribbon and folded them crisscross and 1 in the middle

I made 3 hatpins with beads and added them to a bouquet of small roses and bow with beads

I glued the topper back ground to the main card

I stamped a Magnolia Tilda stamp and coloured her in with Promarkers and used a Spellbinder Scalloped die to cut and embossed it

I took tissue paper and tore it in 2 long strips gathered and glued it to the back of the image to create a frill around the image

Last I added 3 Pearls to the 2 top corners to complete the card

Shopping for Christmas in September

The Sketch I used is this week’s Lilli of the Valley Challenge

This is A5 card on Plain White Card Stock

I glued a minty limy colour pearl card around the main card

I used 2 different paper stacks’ I layered them all onto rich razzleberry card

I love this stamp from Lilly of the Valley

I used Promarkers to colour her in and I added stickles to the fir of her hat and coat

I used a spellbinder scalloped oval die to cut and embossed my image and distressed the edges with ink

I also cut another plain oval with the minty lime green pearl card and another bigger scalloped out of rich razzleberry card stock

I gave my topper a bit of dimension by teasing my edges of my card and used 3d pads and layered all the layers

I dotted some stickles all around the rich razzleberry scalloped edge

I used a flower spellbinder die to cut out my flower

I added pearl brads to complete the flowers centers

and added the flowers to the l-hand side of the card

Again with a spellbinder die I cut two layers of card stock and added a Merry Christmas sentiment

I enjoyed this project.

I printed a free back ground off the internet and Mounted my Image on that with 3d pads

Again I printed a Free Background off the Internet and cut a bit off for my sentiment

Hi Bloggers!! I missed you all!! I have taken a couple of weeks off to make some Jewellery with some lovely beads I brought back from South Africa a few years back. I had so much fun doing it. I donated some to charity.

Well I am back with Paper Crafting and I had so much fun doing the back to school cards.

I printed some backing papers off and stuck it to my main white stock card

I added a bit of Black card to create the effect of a School Chalk/Black Board and stuck the abc and 123 that I cut out with my Cutle Bug

I used a Magnolia Edward stamp and coloured the image in with my Promarkers and cut it out and added a double layer of 3d pads to create the effect that Edward is sitting on top of the cases

The suitcases are a Digi stamp and again just coloured it in with my Promarkers and cut it out and added 3d pads

Good Evening Everyone!! What a lot of rain again in Scotland!

Well here is my new invention!

This is A5 size card

The Sketch is Inkspiration Challenge

The colour choice is the colours of my countries flag Blue and White

The St Andrews Cross

I used 2 different Digi‘s

I cut the suitcases out and cut a slit at her boot and slipped the suitcases under and created the effect she is leaning on the suitcases

I used Promarkers to colour her in

I used a Cutle Bug embossing folder to create the effect of stitching

I added a strip of Tartan Paper and added a blue satin ribbon

I layered the topper and added 3 buttons and 1 Gem to finish the card

Sugar Nellie Picking Flower

Hi Everyone!! Hope you all are having a lovely day! I am not to well at the moment, but just thinking of crafting make me feel a lot better!!

Well let’s have a look what I have for you all today!
Another covered Box!

This box started its live as a perfume gift box

I covered the box with K & Co paper 12 x 12

I used a Sugar Nellie rubber stamp and I really love her.

I used Promarkers to colour her in

I used distressed ink and inked the edges

I layered my image on a oval I cut out and embossed with a Grand Calibur

I took a small doily and cut the center out and glued it around the

R-hand side of my image topper and formed a lace border

I made more handmade roses and added some stickles

I used a Holly Leave Punch and punched some leaves and added some detail with a embossing tool to the leaves

I glued more bought roses

I decorated the inside of the box with a Magnolia Tilda Stamp

I used Promarkers to colour her in

I cut a scalloped rectangular out and embossed with a Grand Calibur

I used distressed ink and inked the edges

I added a bit of ribbon to give the elution she is sitting on a something

I took a handmade rose and added some stickles

I used a Holly Leave Punch and punched some leaves and added some detail with a embossing tool

I glued 3 more bought roses

I added a bow and glued a pearl to the center of the bow

I decorated the sides of the lid with a stripy K & Co paper

and glued dotted ribbon top and bottom

Tilda’s Christmas Gift Box

Good Evening Everyone, I wanted to show you my newest 2 Tilda’s, well it is new for me, I bought both in a sale and this is their first outing. They are adorable!! I've coloured them with Pro markers. The full recipe for my card is below this post otherwise we could be here a long, long time. Lol

My recipe:

Well where shell I start. This gift box started its life been a kids shoe box.

I covered the box in white paper all over and then covered it in Gift Rap

I used a Martha Stewart Lace Punch and created a lace effect border with Silver Mirror card

I glued a Merry Christmas Silver and White ribbon onto the Silver Lace Mirror card border

I decorated all the sides of this box with deferent embellishments.

I printed a Digi Sentiment that I layered on top of Red and Silver mirror card that I cut out with 2 different Spellbinder Nestabilities and glued it to the front and the back of the box

On the Left and Right ends of the box I added another layered topper with Red and Silver mirror card that I cut out with 2 different Spellbinder Nestabilities and added a White Rose I made from paper and added a red Ribbon

I covered the inside of the box as well

I decorated the inside of the lid with a Magnolia Tilda stamp that I coloured in with Promarkers then layered it on top of Red and Silver mirror card that I cut out with 2 different Spellbinder Nestabilities I also added another white handmade rose and some small red roses and holly leaves I punched out with a holly leave punch and added a double red ribbon. I also used the Magnolia Vintage Tag I cut out of Silver Mirror card.

I made all these white roses with a punch and finished them all off with Stickles for a bit of Christmas Glitz!

Last and not least I decorated the top of the lid. I added my toppers to a layered Mirror card and wrapping paper that I punched the corners with a Martha Stewart Corner Punch. Again with white handmade roses I made and green holly leaves and added small red roses. I made 2 bows with white wired Organza ribbon and added a medium single rose in the middle of the bows. I Stamped another Magnolia Tilda stamp and coloured her in with Promarkers. I Layered coloured Tilda on top of Red and Silver mirror card that I cut out with 2 different Spellbinder Nestabilities.

I added white ribbon, added silver cored and finishes of with very thin red ribbon and glued it as a trim to the lid.

My recipe:

I had a lot of fun with this card. I do like Vintage and Sepia and Pink Colours and make things look old and distressed

I made this an 8x8 to fit this lovely topper from my stash

I distressed all of the topper edges with my scissors rubbing it up and down and rubbed distressed ink on the edges

I tore the edge of the main card and tore another 3 strips and distressed the edges

I wrapped around the 3 strips apiece of ribbon and lace and added a single flower with twisted stem

I arranged flowers and added a bow to the top left

Red, White and Blue Patchwork Blanket

Have to apologise for the picture quality there were shadows where there should not be and it looks like if my card is glued all skew I did crop it but still did not come out correct.

Red, White and Blue Patchwork Blanket

My recipe:

My sketch is from Party Time Tuesday
Again a 8X8 at the moment my favourite layout!
Use 3 different colours Red Blue and White card stock onto white as my basic card
I embossed the Red and Blue card pieces with different embossing folders to create the effect of different materials used to sew my Patchwork Blanket
My middle piece is just a bit of scrap I had in my stash and I punched the stars out with one of my punches and glued it to every second square
Added Blue and Red Stitched Ribbon to the edges of my middle semi square to create the elution of a Patchwork Blanket that is stitched
Used a few digital stamps and coloured them in with Promarkers and cut and layered them out
I used a die and cut the cotton bobbins out and embossed them with the Cuttlebug and took a white pen and highlighted the bobbins
I added a sentiment, ribbon and 3 red buttons to finish it off

I used the Bookatrix board of the Glitter Girls
I used black and white card stock
Took Oriental Peel Offs and put it on Vellum and embossed the images
Added peel offs around all the edges
Layered Organza Ribbon with Black Ribbon and then with White Daisy Chain Ribbon and add it to the centre of the book

My recipe:

I used a sketch from Creative Image
The main card is an 8x8 and is from Dark Brown Card Stock
My image is a Mo’s Digital Pencil; I just love this Baby Fairy
I coloured my image in with Promarkers
I cut my image in a circle shape
Cut the Brown Card Stock and Pearl Dusky Pink Card in a shape of a large flower with my Cricut and 3d my image after I layered it onto the Brown and Pearl Pink card stock
Cut 3 strips of Brown and Designers Paper from K&Co and layered it
Layered Patterned Card stock to the main Brown Card and added my topper to that.
Before I layered all my DP’s and Patterned card stock I distressed all the edges with Distress Ink “Tea Dye”
Added flowers that I also distressed with the “Tea Dye”, and added leaves that I used a fern leave punch
I made bows and distressed them with “Tea Dye” and glued them around my Topper
Used Paper Lace that I coloured with Distress Ink, Tea Dye

Well here is my recipe:

I used a sketch from Stampfairy.com
The main card is an 8x8 and is from Lemon Pearl Card stock I had in my stash
My image is a rubber stamp
I coloured my image in with Promarkers
Used a lace punch and punched out a square of Pearl Lime Green card stock
I 3d my image and layered it onto the Pearl Lime Green card stock
Then cut a strip of Pearl Lime Green and added a thinner Lemon Card stock to that and glued it to my Lemon Card Stock
I Layered the Lemon card to a bigger square of Pearl Lime Green card stock and added my topper to that.
I added 4 flowers that I made myself using a daisy punch and put a brad in the middle.

Boy and his fish in the bottle

Well here is my recipe:

I used a sketch no 74 from Pixie Cottage
The main card is an A5 and is from card stock I had in my stash
My image is a rubber stamp that I had for a very long time
I coloured him in with Promarkers
Then stamped the image onto 3 different papers from a 6X6 Ka & Co, Hopscotch paper pack and cut them out and done Paper piecing
Layered my image on the same Ka & Co paper as the Wallis and then on lime Green card stock
I cut a 3 different pieces of the check paper from his pants and layered it with lime green card stock
I stuck the strips in the corners directly on orange cards stock
I glued the long strip across the back of my image and then added 3d tape and that gave it a little bit dimension
I lasty added the 4 brads

Good evening my dear friends!

We were away for a few days with very good friends of ours in our Motor home and camped in Windermere in the Lake District. It was great! The weather, well what can I say about the weather it rained every night and some drizzling during the day time as well. We hired a car and drove around to Ambleside and Keswick. On the Saturday we hired a small boat and gone on Windermere Lake and what fund we had!!

Wha a Girl

Good evening my dear friends!

Well the rain has finally stopped. I must sound like a weather girl!! I was crafting with my dear friend this evening and really enjoyed it. I am so lucky to have such a fantastic friend!

This image made me smile and could taste that lovely ice cream!!

I had fun colouring her in with Promarkers. I never knew that I could have so much fun to use pens to colour in at my age.

Fun in the Sun

Hi all my dear friends!

What a storm we just had! Thunder and lightning and so much rain!!! I am not complaining because the garden needs the rain. I will take some photos of my garden to show all of you. I must admit I do love gardening as well.

Well back to crafting! I love this image from Mo manning the little boy playing in the sand is so lovely and take me back when my children was small and playing in the sand on the beach, but that was many a moon ago! My son and his wife are expecting there 1^st child and my daughter has 3 children!!! So I am a bit long in the tooooooth!! Ha ha!!

Well here is my recipe:

The sketch I used was from Mo Manning
The main card is an A5 and is from card stock I had in my stash
My image is a digi stamp from Mo’s Digital Pencil too!
I coloured him in with Promarkers and distress the edges and made distressed clouds
I have cut another oval with the Cricut machine in lime green and layered my image on it and then layered it on Orange card stock that I Embossed with the Dots Embossing Folder
I took Yellow card edging I had in my stash and embossed that also with a single line of dots
With Red card I embossed flowers with another Cuttlebug Embossing Folder and cut it out and added brads to the middle of the flowers and glued to overhang my image
I took some play sand and glued it to some areas on the image and below the image to form sea sand and added some real small shells and little stones
I used blue card and embossed it with a scalloped edge embossing folder cut that out and put glitter on the ends to try and form the waves breaking on the beach
Last but not least my Sentiment, I distressed the edges with red on the outside and formed a yellow sun like circle in the middle

Another Fairy!

Hi all my dear follow Bloggers!!

Well another fairy has come alive! I must admit I love fairies.

I just want to say thanks for all the lovely comments everybody is leaving me. Promarkers is very new to me and this is only about my 8th image I have coloured in. So my dear fellow Bloggers I am always open for new tips

My image is a digi stamp from Wags 'n Whiskers
I coloured her in with Promarkers
I added some glitter to her wings, but you cannot see it very well on this photo
I layered my image on turquoise card and punched the corners with a Martha Stewart corner punch and layered it on purple card
I cut 2 strips of purple glitter card and added ribbon to the strip and layered it on turquoise card that was punched on the corners with a Martha Stewart corner punch
I did not had the correct colour paper flowers so I coloured them in with Promarkers and added 2 brads and 2 gems and a butterfly in the middle.

Good Evening Everybody!!

Here is another lovely image that I think is so lovely, she is a stamp from Magnolia Stamps and she is called "Tilda"

I used the sketch from Sketch and Stash

Well here is my recipe:

I have used 2 designers paper, pink and orange cards stock and mounted my topper on 6x6 Orange Card Stock

I have used a Magnolia stamp “Tilda”

I used Promarkers to colour the image in

I mounted my image onto a bit of ribbon so she have some where to sit on and used some designers papers and cut the top and the bottom with a lace cutter and mounted it onto a Orange card stock that I Embossed with the Cuttlebug

I have used the Cuttlebug and 2 different embossing folders, Dots and a Diamond shaped Embossing folders

I layered everything and added DMC embroidery cotton to form the cross on the top and added a turquoise flower brad with a bead with the initial “M” on it for Magnolia

I cut the Pink card stock into strips and mounted them onto Orange Card stock and layered it onto the Striped Designers paper I also embossed the strips

I made the flowers and cut the leaves out with a punch and made a posy

Then last but not least I added 3 buttons with DMC embroidery cotton tied so it looks like a bow in each!

Good Evening Everybody!!

I really had fun with this card. I must admit I do like Kenny K’s images.

Well here is my recipe:

My Sketch is from Papertake Weekly

I have used Orange, Yellow, Green and mounted my topper on white A5 Card Stock

I have used an image from Kenny K images “Rock Chic”

I used Promarkers to colour the image in

I mounted my image onto circles that I cut out with the cricut machine in orange, yellow and green cardstock

I have used the Cuttlebug and 3 different embossing folders, Dots, Music Notes Sheet and a Diamond shaped Embossing folders

I layered everything and added a ribbon before I added my circles with the image

I used a Cuttlebug tag die and mounted my sentiment on it

Then last but not least I added Star Brads to add to the “Rock Star” theme!

Second post of the day! Tie a Yellow Ribbon!

Here's my second entry of the day...

This is another card I made last night! I am not particularly happy with it as the colours is maybe a bit too vibrant....lol or let me say it was not what I had in mind, but I suppose everyone's taste is different!

The image is from Gingerloft and they have a challenge this week to tie a yellow ribbon, so I used that for my main inspiration.

Secondly Simon Says Stamps has got a challenge for stars and stripes so I added the little golden stars to my image (sorry I know the picture is not very clear) and the stripey papers.

Cooking with Katie has a recipe - Swirls, Sunny and a sentiment so that is why I decided to go for the yellow...

I used the Sketch from the Dutch Dare challenge to design my card by.

Kenny K Challenge

Good Afternoon Lovely Bloggers,

You won't believe me I came across these lovely images last night and I fell in love with them straight away! So I purchased a couple and couldn't wait to get them coloured. These girlz is just stunning.
So here I am with another card to show you all.

It was really hard to decide which image to get, but I went for this one in the end. I used some glitter card in the back, ( I just can't get it to show up on the piccie) and then I added the embossed holly and the snowflakes, so I will probably add a Christmas sentiment a bit later. I knew from the start I wanted to make an easel card and then I just added the punched borders and feathers to it at the bottom.

I am very happy with the end result, so I hope you all like it.

Wags 'n Whiskers - Fairy Iris

Good Evening Bloggers,

Firstly I would like to say a huge thank you for everyone that visited my blog since I posted my first post, and thank you to each and everyone who left me a comment....The reception has been fabulous, there is so many kind hearted people out them and I loved it ever since I signed up!

Anyway I have another card to showcase tonight.
Again I went for a Lovely Fairy from Wags 'n Whiskers - this one is Fairy Iris. I just love fairies and these once is just so irresistible.

I am sorry if my picture is not too good tonight, but the weather has been so bad here today and so gray and the light wasn't playing along....

Anyway my recipe is as follow:

Image: Wags 'n Whiskers available from Bunny Zoe's Crafts. I coloured her using my Promarkers, after that I added some stickels to the wings and the buttons. (Sorry this is not showing up very well, I will try to take a better picture tomorrow).
The flowers is fabric flowers is from Papermania as well as the buttons which I added to them.
The big purple bow was one I recycled previously from a box of chocolates I received for my Birthday and the beads that is hanging down from it, I have had for many many years.
The tags I cut out using a die and my cuttlebug which I added a sentiment to.
The lace borders was punched using a Martha Stewart punch and lastly I added the three little pearls on the ribbon.
I used the sketch from Mojo Monday to design my card by.

My First Post and Card!

Good Evening Everyone,

Well, I have been crafting for most my life, but it has only been very recently when a crafting buddy of mine has convinced me to start my own blog.....So here I am after a lot of convincing and a lot of struggling to get everything nicely set up. And there is still so much I want to add to my blog, but I suppose Rome wasn't built in one day.

I am not very technical minded but hopefully with some help and lots of patience from everyone I will get there eventually.

Anyway I decided to make a card as one of my crafty friends that has been blogging for a while was helpful enough to send me a list with links to some of the most popular craft challenge blogs, so I decided to make a card for a few of these....is that not a nice way to start off....

So here we go:

My card recipe:

Image: Wags 'n Whiskers, coloured using my lovely new promarkers.

Layered onto Lilac card and Purple Mirri card. Then I added a punched paper lace border at the bottom with some nice matching ribbon. The scrolls was cut out using my Cricut machine. The Feathers, flowers & pins was just from my craft stash. Lastly I added some nice bling on the swirls and some stickles on her wings and in her hair.
