We have another Technique Challenge once a month and is ending on the 14 November. 

The theme for that challenge is Centre Stepper Card

Well everybody here is my take on the Borders Challenge:

I used cream hammered card and layered it with

Gold Miri card and a deep red

Used a round corner punch for all the edges

to match in with the round corners

of this lovely frame Pretty Parchment Frame from 

SweetStamps.com

I stamped my Pretty Parchment Frame

colored the edges and some of the detail with

a Gold Gel pen

I cut the frame out and then

I used distressed ink and just inked up here and there

I used Versamark and Enamel Embossing powder

to create the enamel effect.

I added 4 Gold Bling on the 4 corners

This is such a lovely stamp Christmas Rose Candle
I colored my image in with Promarkers
Tulip Yellow, Buttercup, Amber, Sunkissed pink,
Berry Red, Apple Cider, Pine and Apple
To finish the image of the create a bit of a atmosphere
I used the same distressed ink and just added here and there
some ink.

Wedding Planner

Hi everybody!

We are having a fantastic day here in Scotland! The sun is shining and it is so nice and warm.  You cannot believe that it is nearly time for the clocks to change to the winter time.  Well that is enough of the weather lets get down to the real business...... another challenge across at Hobbycutz!  Yes it is already challenge #21 and the theme is Make a home Decoration.  Well I thought the lovely digital image we were sponsored by our lovely new sponsor Crafty Sentiments Designs had the perfect digi for me.  I need to make a gift for a friend that is getting married in a couple of years and is so busy planning her wedding and all the pictures and clip outs of all the magazines are lying around so what a perfect gift for her to put everything in together!!!

Well here is my take on this Challenge #21:

I used from Hobbycutz this lovely Book cover and all these love Lazercuts for this lovely Wedding planner I am putting together for my friend.

This lovely Digital image is from Crafty Sentiments Designs .  I used my Promarkers to colour the image in.

I made a lovely bouquet of flowers and draped the ribbon.  I added a pearl in the center of the bow and on 2 corners.  I put some pearls as her tiara in her her.  

At the bottom of the cover I added this lovey lazer cut image with a lovely sentiment on.

I loved it so much I even created my back ground with the same paper as 

what I used to do my paper piecing on my stamps and 

created a quilt blanket effect.

Well everybody here is my take on the Borders Challenge:

I used a white card and made a 8X8

Layered it with Red, Gold Mirri and Dark Green Glittered card

I used a few of the lovely SweetStamp Die collection.

Look at the different colors of the same card.

The top card I took this photo with the light from the back

And the Card at the bottom with the sunshine on the card.

It looks likes 2 different colored cards. 

This bow in the middle I layered with ribbon, Rope,

Paper Flower and a lovely flower with pearls in the middle

and places it on a lovely SweetStamps die cut out with Mirri card.

Halloween across at Hobbycutz

Hi Dear Crafty Friends,

I love this time of the year when everything in nature is 

changing and turning into gold and warm colours!

I love the shades of Autumn.  

This also mean it is the time of the year for Halloween and 

across at Hobbycutz that is the theme of our Challenge #19.

Well dear friends here is my Halloween card!

I used a Black heavy stock card as my base card and made a 8x8

I layered the lovely Digital Paper sponsored 

I layered it with a deep orange and then added to my main card

that is black and that give it another layer

I added these fantastic Lazer cut dies from Hobbycutz

I colours some in with a black permanent marker

Inside

In the inside I used the same digi paper as in the front

I added some more lovely lazer cut dies from Hobbycutz!!

Well everybody here is my take on the Borders Challenge:

Well I loved this project!

I used plain white card stock and made a Flip Flop card

This lovely Image  is a new designed by the lovely Jacqueline Hill the 

designer for SweetStamps.com

Sweet Ginger Bread House & Wishes

I used the following Promarkers:

Forest Green, Tulip Yellow, Caramel, Cocoa, 

Ice Grey 1, Poppy, Rock Pool, Reef Blue.

I used B21 baby Blue from Copics for my shadows and clouds

I used the lovely die B147 Olive Branches from Cherry Lynn Designs 

and coloured the Olive leaves in with Promarkers

I glued these Olive Leaves in between my 

my Image topper and the red Scalloped die from spellbinders

that I used for the layering of my topper

Then added to the half circle of my Flip Flip Card.

My border I used this love border stamp from SweetStamps.com

Poinsettia Border

I used the spellbinders, Mix and Match Classic Edges

to frame and layer my lovely border that I coloured in 

with Promarkers
