Micro Beads

Well everybody here is my take on the Borders Challenge:

I used Pearl Card as my base card and created a card that just measured
little bit smaller than  a A5 card
I used a fantastic Embossing folder called Tied Together
and embossed some of this lovely Pearl Card stock
I layered it with Silver Mirror card

I just love these dies from SweetStamps.com's
called SweetCuts.
They cut so perfect first time every time
I cut the corners, the toppers and the Doily from Mirror Card
I used a Spellbinder Plain Small Circle and used Pearl Card Stock
I layered all my layers

I finally used another die and cut the small doily out of Mirror Card
I took a bead embellishment and add a Pearl to the center
I took ribbon and weaved it through the Buckle Die
Used extra strong double sided tape and adhere to the back
of the Embossing layer
I added my Silver Pearl Embellishment I made to the Center

Photography Lady - Hobbycutz

Hi everyone!

Hope you are having  a lovely time!  Well by now I think you all have heard that I fell off the stairs at my friends house and injured my left knee, hip and ankle.   So I have not been able to move a lot lately.

My friend decided it will do me the world of good to take me on a mini holiday to the North of Scotland with his Motor Home but what a struggle.  I am still having so much fun even though I can't get about easy.

Well, there is a lovely challenge across at Hobbycutz.
Our sponsor for this Challenge #25 is KennyK
he has sponsored some lovely digital images
for our DT Members to use combined with the Colour Scheme
chosen by our talented DT Nancy

Well here is my take on it:

I used Plain White Card Stock to create a A5 size Card

I layered it with Red card stock
I used this lovely card stock from Aspire Crafts, Marble Beige
Ruffled the edges and distressed it

The Distressed Inks I used was
Tim Holtz and the colors
Pumice Stone & Old Paper

I cut 2 different size Spellbinders Grand Nestabilities Plain ovals
1 in Red and 1 were I printed my love Digi from Kenny K on
Distressed the edges around my Image

This lovely Digi is called Savannah Belle

I used Promarkers to colour her in:
Crimson and Berry Red
Moss, Ivory, Blush, Vanilla,
Burnt Sienna, Tan, Ice Grey 1
Gold, Amber

These lovely Gears are from Hobbycutz
I kept the bottom 1 just plain wood and
Gold embossed the other 3

I made a lovely Bouquet of Red Roses
just to finish off my project.

Well I hope you enjoyed this project of mine and hope I could be of some inspiration to you!

Well here is my take on it!

I used plain White Card stock and created a 6 X 6 card
I layered the card with Light Blue Card Stock
and added 4 Blue Pearls to the corners

I used a Cheery Lynn Design:  French Flair  Doily Stacker
in two different sizes and cut it out of plain white card stock
I layered both the squares onto Silver Mirror Card and cut around
glued together
Added foam pads to create depth to both the layers

I added Liquid Pearls around the smallest square

I used a SweetCutz Die : Mini Medallion and cut
the die out of Silver Mirror Card
Glued it down
I decided then to fill in some of the spaces with Micro Beads
I chosen a lovely blue from Martha Steward
I put a lot of quick drying glue down and
pored the Blue Micro Beads into that space
I continued until I filled all my areas
and then left to dry.
