Mrs Snowy Girl Winter Blues

Hi every one and a very Happy Monday!
Well it is not such lovely weather here in Scotland at the moment the winds are wild 
and it is snowing and blowing a gale of about 85 miles an hour out there. 
So the theme of the challenge is perfect across at

 Here is my take on the Challenge this week!

Mrs Snowy Girl full of Winter Blues

I made a 6 x 4 card with Turquoise Card stock
I used a lovely Organza ribbon with a Silk edge and framed it with
a Martha Steward Edge Punch


These are an amazing Duo Stamp set
Mr & Mrs Snow
I just used Mrs Snow
I Painted her with the Distress ink
I used some Promarkers to colour her nose and the Poinsettia in
On her cape I used Turquoise Stickles Glue 
I distressed the edges of the image with Broken China and


I used a lovely snowflake die
and added it to the center of the Double Turquoise Organza Bow 
I added a flat back Turquoise Pearl to the center of the snowflake

    Love your Winter Blues card- the dies are so pretty, and love the pretty bow! It is snowing here too- but not so windy- Yikes!

    What a gorgeous wintry design, Denise! Beautiful glittery stickles on that cozy shawl. I always love the feminine beauty of your creations. Also...a little secret...my mom texted me your card and told me that she loved "my" card and how beautiful it was after seeing it on FB. I had to fess up and let her know it was all yours. So...you have another fan, just in case you wondered! :-)
