Here is my take on the Challenge this week!
Piecing my Medallion Heart Together
It is an image that you stamp or it could be a
digital image you printed or stamped
several time
Depending on how many layers you require
The base image is normally
the whole image
You then decide how many layers you are going to build up
That is the way you create the
3D paper piecing technique
I made a 7 X 7 card from white base card
I used a medallion stamp from SweetStamps.com
I decided to make 4 layers
so I had to stamp my image 4X.
I colored my image in according
Cut each layer and add to my base image
Until I reach my top layer
I added a white flat back gem to the center
I mounted my image on a white base card and
then layered it with a deep red card stock
I positioned it to the top right of my base card
I took a strip of the red card and added White silk ribbon to it
and glued it to the left side of my base
I made 3 bows in different sizes and colours
and added it to the bottom of my image
I added to more flat back gems to the 2 top corners
