Well here is my DT card for Hobbycutz Challenge #3 CAS and Sketch

I have made this card for Challenge #3, CAS and Sketch.
I used hammered card for my base card and cut to 15cm x 15cm (6 x 6)
I used a Marianne Design LR0242.  Then added all these lovely bibs and bobs from Hobbycutz.
I decided because it is CAS not to do anything to the lazer cuts. I like the wood on the white.

I use again the same Design LR0242 for the inside. Added a bow and a small Hobbycutz flower.

Thank you for stopping by and please leave a comment. I love reading all the comments!

My DT Project - Easter in a Box
Well I have been so busy this is my second project for the  Easter Challenge. Well lets have a look:

Outside
This is another small square box from Hobbycutz with a lid that works fantastic.  I covered it in yellow card stock. Added the lace to the edges and ended it off with thin yellow gingham ribbon.

On Top
I had this little Chick for as long as I can remember same with the eggs.  The letters are from Hobbycutz, I Gesso them, Colored with my Promarkers and then added glitter. I had some shredded paper in yellow and made a nest with the eggs and the Chick and glued the individual letters that spell Easter in front standing up.

Inside.
I covered the inside of the lid with gingham paper and made a topper and added the yellow gingham covered lid.
I punched some small eggs out of paper and coloured them in with Promarkers and added glitter. Made a bow and added a bead and a pearl to the bow.  Used lovely Pink  and yellow roses and leaves.
Used a mini Magnolia Little Bunny Tilda and placed her on top of the mini eggs. Then added some mini chocolate Easter eggs on a nest of yellow shredded paper.

Well I hope you all like this project!
Till Later

My DT Project - Box in a Card:
I used this lovely card stock from Kanban, Pink Fluffle Borders, I folded the card so that there is a spine to give me the depth for my Box that I added on the inside This is another box from Hobbycutz, it is not very big, but very handy, it is like a matchbox.

This is a lovely word lazer cut from Hobbycutz.  I painted it with Gesso and then used my Promarkers to color the Egg.  Then used Tacky Embossing Powder and added some glitter. Added a bow with pearl beads.  Used mini Magnolia, Little Bunny Tilda, and used Crystal Lacquer.

I used a couple Spellbinder Border Dies for this lovely Border. Added a ribbon and a bow with beads.  I put a few beads and pearls together with a little "Hand made" charm on the end.

On the other side I added a Doily and cut a little Pink Doily using Spellbinder dies.
I took the lovely little box and covered it with yellow card and decorated the top with Wooden Laser cut Easter eggs,  from Hobbycutz, that I used Gesso as a base coat and coloured in with my Promarkers. I made these headpins and added them too.  I used another mini Magnolia, Tilda painting Egg, and coloured her in with Promarkers and then used Crystal Lacquer.
I made a little handle with a Pearl, a Silver Spacer and then a Silver Heart Brad.  Inside I have put some Mini Chocolate Easter Eggs
.
These lovely boxes from Hobbycutz are very handy for all sorts.

Altered Note Book

Hi to all the Lovely People out there!

Well the other day I decided to recycle and make a notebook for my shopping list and Reference for the Craft Show.  So I started with this lovely Magnolia Rose Scent Tilda.  I colored her in with Promarkers and used Crystal Lacquer for the Rose.  I covered my book with lovely paper I had in my stash still from South Africa. I Embossed blue card stock and cut this lovely die from Spellbinders. I made some flowers and added it so that Tilda had somewhere to sit. I glued 4 flat back pearls to the corners. |Used a few of my scrap ribbons, as you know we do not put anything in the dustbin no matter how small.  I had to add more ribbons I like it full and soft looking. It came out very nice I am happy with this project I made.

By the way I never took it with me, I didn't wanted it to get damaged in my bag it was far too beautiful!!!

NEW Sunday Challenge!! We have a Blog Hop and my first DT project for Hobycutz

Hi and Welcome to the Launch of

The HOBBYCUTZ CHALLENGE BLOG...

and a Blog HoP

I am a Designer for Hobbycutz and we will be running a bi-weekly challenge and hope you will enjoy the creative projects we will showcase, and that we will inspire you all to come and take part in our challenges.

Kobie is the Owner and Designer of Hobbycutz Lasercutting & Designs and this is her story

I am Kobie and I am the Owner and Designer of Hobbycutz Lasercutting & Designs.
I  grew up in a Crafty family, with a very creative Gran, Mum and even Dad...he was always into woodworking....
I acquired a laser cutter early December last year after having my second child, which made it nearly impossible to return to work because of expensive child care, so I had to look for something I can do from home.
It was the biggest learning curve of my life and never really realised what I was getting myself into until the machine arrived.
But anyway not going to bore you with the rest, I am here and we will have to see what the future holds.....

So to celebrate the launch of this new adventure we are having a blog hop and you have 2 weeks to join in the fun and try and win some prizes.

So I hope you arrived here from Wenche - (No Letter)

If not please go back to the Hobbycutz challenge blog and start the Hop there as You need to collect a letter from each member.

The rules of the hop are as follow:

1. Leave a comment on each of the DT posts as you hop, this is a must to qualify for the prize.

2. Collect the letters from the DT's blog and email Kobieathobbycutz@gmail.com with the word they spell (ps they are mixed up and not everyone has one)

3. Leave a comment on the Challenge blog letting us know which design from the website you like best

4. Display our badge in your side bar to spread the word.

The winner of the hop will receive a £10 Voucher to spend on the website and two runner ups will receive each a £5.00 voucher to spend on the website.

Not only can you do the hop and win a prize .. but we also have First Challenge running which is

 ANYTHING GOES

The prize for the overall challenge which will be picked by the Random thingy will be
a £10 Voucher to spend on the website, and I will also give away a £5.00 Voucher every challenge for a Random winner using a 'HOBBYCUTZ' product.

Here is my project for Challenge #1, Anything Goes.  I made a A4 card. I used a film strip and a lovely butterfly from Hobbycutz.  I used tackie embossing powder and scattered glitter on the Butterfly. For the film strip I used a Stazeon Jet Black. It would look very good on a scrapbook page. I had loads of fun creating this. I coloured all the Magnolia Tilda's in with Promarkers. The DP I used is from Paper mania.

Thank You for taking time to visit my blog and became a folower of my blog and Hobbycutz Challenge Blog. My Letter is "Z" so  please hop on now to Lorraine
