Hi to all my dear friends,
Well this months technique across at SweetStamps.com is reel fun to do! It is so easy!
Well I am originally from South Africa, so I created a sunset. It took me back to the days out in the Kruger National Park. The buck reaching for the fresh leaves on the trees.
For this months technique
Painters Tape
The monthly challenge at SweetStamps Challenges is focused on techniques and will run from the 15th of the current month to the
14 of the next month.
You have a chance to win a $20 Gift Certificate to spend on lovely nice goodies at the

You get an extra chance to win when you use a SweetStamps image on your creation.
Well here is my take on it!
I used Hammered White card stock and created a card just smaller than a 8x8
After I completed my Image I layered it on Black and Orange Card
I created a mask for my sun and adhere it first
before I started with laying down the strips of colors
I used Rangers Distress inks:
Barn Door, Squeezed Lemonade, Dried Marigold & Orange Marmalade
I used a strip of Painters Tape for each color
I started at the top and worked my way down
After I created the sunset I masked it off
so I could create my horizon with Memento Black
and the Painters Tape
This is a stamp set from AfrtsyfArtsy by SweetStamps.com
It is such a versatile stamp set of trees and leaves
I removed the circle to reveal the white circle
I took a fine 0.05 black pen and draw 2 birds in flight
Shrink Plastic
I used a SweetCuts die and cut the image
out of Shrink Plastic
I used the Black Memento and covered my image
Heated it.
The size of the image was 2.5 inch to start
and shrank down to only 1 inch
Well I hope you enjoyed this project of mine and hope
I could be of some inspiration to you!
Just a reminder that this challenge lasts until 14 July
